Sunny Beach is located in the southern part of the Black Sea Riviera of Bulgaria along a semicircular bay facing east. Sunny beach is around 35KM from Bourgas airport and the transfer time is said to be around 40 minutes. The flight time to Bourgas airport from London is about 3 hours and 30 mins. It is a fairly new clubbing resort for British tourists, however, it is also very popular to other Europeans such as the Swedish and Finish as well as Bulgarians.
Bottled water is recommended over there and is widely available.
You will need a travel adapter as Sunny Beach uses 2 pin.

Bourgas and Varna – Bourgas is the closest to Sunny Beach so you should try to make sure your flight is going here.
Banks and ATMs
Most of the ATMs in Sunny Beach will let you withdraw 200 Leva at a time. However, there is one exception which is the ATM at First Investment Bank on flower street, will let you withdraw 400 Leva at a time, as you pay a fee per withdrawal this can save money.
In Sunny Beach there are many clubs, which are reasonably close together. The biggest club is Lazur which plays mainly dance and RnB and comprises 14 bars, 3 floors and 2 swimming pools with slides.
In Sunny Beach there are many restaurants as well as 3 McDonalds. The food in Sunny Beach is also very cheap.
During the day if you don’t want to hang around the pool at your hotel you can go down to Sunny Beach which runs all the way along the resort and has many shops, bars and cafes. There are also loads of watersports from pedalos and banana boats to jet skis. There is also a waterpark and paint balling (although the paint balling is fairly basic).
There are taxis and a shuttle bus service in Sunny Beach.
A huge amount of thieves/pickpockets operate in Sunny Beach so be aware at all times.
