id love to go travelling and most likely will when im in a position to do it even if it is when im like 35 lol!

i quite like the story of 'i did it all on my own' im not sure if i would like the reality there is a few places i wouldn't mind going on my own i expect.

i litterally would wanna see the world and all of it.....cities of europe, moscow, poland, prague etc, kenya, madagascar, sri lanka, goa(and other places in india), rome, egypt, morocco, israel, nepal, mongolia, china, thailand, laos, vietnam, japan, malaysia, indonesia, borneo, papa new guinea, oz, new zealand, cook islands and fiji etc, most of south america - agrentina, peru, brazil venezuela, costa rica, carribean, mexico, do a lil tour of canada and road trip accross america in a old school mustang then fly the fuck home....i reckon i would be away for a good 7 years lol.

i would want to do stuff like live in a buddist monestary and be a fisherman in costa rica and stuff like real experiences not just sight seeing tho.

would definitely include seeing the amazon in my travels, would like to chill in thailand for a month

L.A, thailand, miami, borneo, malaysia, singapore, vietnam, malaysia, NZ, brazil, cuba, peru, tokyo then back to sunny manchester


If you were going travelling for a year how much would you aim to bring for spends, i know you would need different amounts for different places (places dearer than others etc)

Id like to bring about 10k so im not struggling then work sometimes to get some cash

for a year id like to set of with no less than 8k in the bank, but preferbly 10

been looking into this as would be ideal to go begining of next year if im ever gonna go!

would be looking at something like:

LA - Fiji - New zealand - Australia - Malaysia - Thailand - Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam

looking at £1500 or so for flights then prob another 6 - 7 grand spending money for about 6 - 8 months

its gotta be 10k for a year aint it....you can do it for cheap as fuck tho like 4k if your going mainly asian places.

my one would cost a fortune if you just wanted to travel round those places and stuff but i would find work whever possible and stuff its doable i reckon....you would just have to stay somewhere for a while and save up while in one job then move on again...perfect.

yeh 10k to spend then you have flights etc working is a difficult one due to visas etc isent as easy as you would think plus you can only ever have one working visa to australia. yeah some asian places are pretty cheap but i would still want to go and do white water rafting, sky diving, bunjee jumping, diving etc i would get a aussie bus pass to go round the whole of aus on a jump on and off ticket basically and thats just over 1k on its own. i reli want to go to fiji as well not too bothered about LA as i could do that anytime reli but alot of the asian places etc you may only ever visit once and would love to do it properly

with the aussie working visa....i know people over there that visa's ran out and they somehow got another one so not impossible! i done white water in thailand and turkey i fucking love rafting for some reason bit random but its awesome!!! we were just talking about spends....flights round the world aint actually that bad are they like you can get round the world for 1500 or sommit which is the same as two normal long haul flights!

yeah about 1500 is about normal and thats a flexable ticket as well so you can change the date and miss places out etc

i quite like the look of this one not quite the order i had in mind but got most of the places. i would want to fly out of malaysia if going around that way as well so i could travel from thailand up throught Laos - Vietnam and the down through Malaysia

see i dont like that....if you want to do like laos vietnam and stuff plus thailand and malaysia then it makes sense to fly to like tokyo boat it to china and get the train all the way down to hong kong....travel trough laos and vietnam then thailand....fly from thailand to indonesia or malaysia then explore it that way...then fly from there to oz....any other way and you will either have to miss out on big interesting places or have to double back on yourself.

yeah really i would want to do it the other way round i think so would be LA - Fiji - New Zealand - Australia - Malaysia travel up through Thailand through Cambodia up through Vietnam and then down through Laos back to Bangkok

although you may be right you could always go from Australi to Hong Kong down china through Vietnam then either through Laos or carry on through vienam to cambodia and into thailand down through malaysia end end up flying out of singapore

Would it even matter if you doubled back on yourself though?? It's not like you'd be using a 1 way ticket or owt and lets face it, when you get on a plane or train, you don't really realise which way you're heading. Or am i missing something??????????
